PET FRIENDLY

How lovely that you’re travelling with your pet. One of the three dog walking routes in Aartselaar is the park just behind the hotel. You can find the details here: https://www.routezoeker.com/wandelroutes/solhofwandeling

Wherever you go, you’ll find pet-friendly shops and restaurants (though you may have to sit on the terrace at times).

VERVOER

Do you need a cab? Let us book it for you at the reception. If you would rather use public transport or discover Aartselaar by bike, here is some useful information:

By train: The beautiful cities of Mechelen, Brussels and Zaventem Airport are all just half an hour from Antwerp railway station. A slightly longer train journey will take you to Bruges, Ghent, Liège, the Belgian coast or even Amsterdam. You can buy your ticket at the station, via the NMBS app or at belgiantrain.be/en/

By bus: The bus stop in front of the hotel is called ‘Aartselaar Barones de Borrekenslaan’. The ‘De Lijn’ app on Google Maps will show you the best route to follow and provide real-time updates. Tickets can be purchased online via the De Lijn app or at De Lijn stations. The train journey to Antwerp station takes approximately 30 minutes.

By bike: Would you like to relax with a cycle ride through the greenery? You’ll find a wide selection of routes along the cycle paths in the area online. We recommend this one: https://www.fietsknooppunt.be/nl-be/fietsen/routes/r1061/volg-de-valleien-naar-het-solhof. Don’t have a bike? No problem! You can hire our bikes for €20 per day per bike. Please let us know in advance as our selection of bikes is limited.
